We don't see natural red coral necklaces as available as it used to be and this one is gorgeous!  Ten strands of natural Mediterranean coral are interspersed with green turquoise and tiny oxidized sterling silver melon beads.  The coral has 2.75" of pen shell heishi on each end that are nestled into sterling silver cones ending with a sterling silver hook and eye clasp.

A white mother of pearl eagle inlaid with nine turquoise dots leads the way for this colorful flock of twenty-two carved birds.  Pen shell heishi and turquoise bind them all together.  The birds are carved from turquoise, spiny oyster shell, mother of pearl, serpentine, jet, and Picasso marble.  The clasp is a sterling silver hook and eye.  Markings in permanent marker on the back of the eagle.  This necklace was part of a collection of older Native American jewelry from the 1950s to 1980s.

This petite, vintage Navajo handmade concho belt has nineteen nineteen sterling silver conchos, plus the buckle.  The conchos are set with natural turquoise.  The radiating designs from the turquoise outward are repoussse with impeccable stamp-work.  The buckle is set with two natural turquoise stones and the designs are stamped.  Our estimate is that it was made in the 1940s to 1950s.  The silver has a lovely patina that only comes with age.

Navajo jeweler Leander Tahe made this striking brushed sterling silver bracelet.  Nine turquoise stones are set between the raised tips.  The spaces between the twenty-two raised edges are oxidized black.  "L.Tahe" and "STERLING" stamped inside.

 This bracelet has the colors of fire beaded in a pale blue background.  The center row has beads of fire colors in white, yellow, and orange.  On each side are flame shapes of white, yellow, orange, red, and black beads. The beads were attached to leather which is attached to a flexible bracelet.

Navajo Jeweler, Tom Hawk, made this sterling silver ring.  The space between the five raised parts is oxidized to turn it black which gives it a striking appearance.  It tapers toward the back, making it very comfortable to wear.  It is stamped "sterling" and 'Tom Hawk" on the inside.

Navajo jeweler Selena Warner set Caribbean blue turquoise in this sterling silver ring.  The matrix is white, gray, and pale green which resembles islands and clouds in the Caribbean.  Tisted silver wire surrounds the bezel with four domed silver accents at the top and bottom of the setting.  The band is double shank.

Wear springtime blue skies and flowers even on the darkest days!  Navajo jeweler Tom Dinetso created this lovely sterling silver ring with two detailed leaves and flowers highlighting four turquoise stones.  The band is triple shank.  The silver is slightly oxidized to give it a vintage look.

This Zuni fetish necklace was handmade by Albenita Yunie and it celebrates birds!  Eighteen birds made of turquoise, black lip mother of pearl, spiny oyster shell, and gold Lip mother of pearl surround the larger turquoise bird in the center.  Between the bird fetishes are turquoise heishi and shell beads.  The beads end with round sterling silver beads, sterling cone, and a hook and eye clasp.

Kewa Pueblo jeweler Tim Bailon set shades of blue turquoise in mosaic inlay.  The sterling silver band is double shank and the simplicity of the silver makes the stones pop!  "TB" and "Sterling" are stamped in the band.

Navajo jeweler Samuel Yellowhair set a clear, sly blue turquoise stone in this detailed sterling silver ring. The turquoise is set in a shadowbox with the back oxidized to turn black and the silverwork surrounding the shadowbox is beautifully detailed. The band is triple shank.

This well crafted sterling silver turquoise ring by Daniel Benally is fit for a queen!  The sky blue turquoise with gray matrix is surrounded by twisted silver wire, which is surrounded by silver with decorated cut-outs.  At the the top are three silver flowers.  The sterling silver band is triple shank.

Navajo jeweler Amanda Larry crafted this tower of oxidized sterling silver bead earrings.  They dangle from sterling silver wires and would go perfect with any jewelry that has a vintage patina, is oxidized silver, or to wear simply alone.

Ten natural red coral grace this Zuni sterling silver ring.  Each delicately carved stone is set in a sawtooth bezel with a tiny silver ball between each one.  The band has stamp-work all the way around.  "QUAM" and "Sterling" stamped inside the band.

Natural turquoise, spiny oyster shell, gaspeite, sugilite, and jet create a lightening shaped rainbow on this Navajo inlay sterling silver ring.  These types of stone inlay jewelry should always be taken off in water and while gardening, cleaning, or other activities that could cause the stones to fall out.

This vintage, natural Morenci turquoise bracelet was made by Navajo jeweler, Larry Bennett.  The sterling silver hands appear to be lifting the turquoise up as an offering.  We estimate it was made in the late 1970s to early 1980s.  "L Bennett" and "STERLING" are stamped on the inside.

Navajo jeweler Aaron Toadlena set natural turquoise, opal, jet, spiny oyster shell, sugilite, and gaspeite in a sterling silver ring.  On each side is a step design.  This type of ring should not be worn in water, gardening, or any type of rough activity.

These beautiful Zuni handmade post earrings were made by Derrick and Lorelia Chavez.  Four diamond shaped natural Sleeping Beauty turquoise stones are inlaid on the posts.  Dangling below the post are seven additional diamond shaped natural Sleeping Beauty turquoise stones.

Navajo jeweler Samuel Yellowhair set a White Buffo stone in this detailed sterling silver ring. Twisted silver wire surrounds the bezel with detailed silver cutouts around the edge. Sterling silver domes add to the design at the top and bottom of the setting. The band is triple shank.

This vintage Navajo handmade Water Bird is also called a Peyote Bird and is an important aspect of tipi ceremonies.  Crushed natural turquoise and natural red coral is inlaid on the wings and tail of this sterling silver brooch.  We love the shiny silver heart shape between the wings. The face is detailed and there are stamp-work on the wings and tail. This was probably made in the 1970s or 80s.  "HC" is stamped behind the tail. What a find!

Navajo jeweler Daniel Dakai crafted this sterling silver ring and set a large, oval turquoise stone in it.  The band has strong stamp-work of arrows and diamonds all the way around.  This ring seems potent and strong.

Navajo jeweler Sonei Coho crafted this sterling silver overlay Thunderbird pendant and set a diamond shaped turquoise in the center.  More about Thunderbirds below.

Navajo jeweler Leonard Maloney crafted this impressive sterling silver ring.  The band is wide all the way around with the exception of the very back.  There is something soothing about running a finger across the raised half-domes.

There are so many details in this sterling silver cigar band ring by Richard Jim!  The background has been oxidized black and is much darker than the photos represent.  The black background highlights the silver hearts, scrolls, and shiny parts that were soldered onto it.  "Richard C Jim" and "Sterling" are stamped inside the band.

The stamp-work on this sterling silver cigar band ring reminds us of ripples on the water.  It was made by Navajo jeweler Douglas Etcitty of sterling silver.

Navajo jeweler Thomas Charlie crafted this impressive sterling silver ring.  The band is narrower than similar rings and there is something soothing about running a finger across the raised half-domes.

Navajo jeweler Annie Spencer made these oxidized sterling silver rings which gives them an antique look.  There is a stamp-work flower at the top and bottom, and the rised center is made using the repousse technique.  The band is triple shank.  

Navajo jeweler Aaron Davis made this sterling silver eagle feather ring.  The quill is wrapped in silver wire which drapes over the feather.  Adjustable one size up.  More about eagles below.

The eagle is sacred since it sees the furthest and flies the highest.  It is a messenger that takes our prayers to the Creator.  Seeing an eagle is considered a blessing for many people.  Because they are sacred, eagle feathers are utilized in ceremonies and on dance regalia.  In Zuni Pueblo, eagles are also the guardian of the sky world. 

This sterling silver feather pendant was made by Navajo jeweler, Chris Charley.  The feather is intricately detailed and quill is wrapped with a silver wire that appears to hang down onto the feather.  Stamped "C" and "Sterling" on the back.

Navajo jeweler Chris Charley made this sterling silver pony tail holder in the shape of an eagle feather.  The quill of the feather is wrapped in silver wire which appears to dangle on the feather.  This will definitely get noticed!

Keep your money in style with this sterling silver money clip.  Navajo jeweler Shirley Skeets hand-stamped beautiful designs into the silver and set turquoise in a shadowbox in the center.  Just fold your bills and tuck them in to keep your money from getting crumpled.

What a wonderful way to celebrate baby while adding an heirloom to the family!  Emerald green, black, red, orange, yellow, and white beads were woven by a Navajo artisan to create this lovely baby bracelet.
